Skateboard helmets and bicycle helmets can be roughly divided into the following categories according to the types of bicycles
1. Half helmet (mountain bikes, scooters, road bikes, including BMX half helmets). It is generally formed by foam compression, which is light in weight and can provide protection under low exercise intensity
2. Full helmet (DH downhill), this helmet is similar to a cross-country motorcycle helmet.
Of course, there are half helmets and full helmets in motorcycles, but because the speed of motorcycles is faster, the required protection strength is naturally higher, so foam materials are generally not used. This is their difference.
The common point is that you can mix the two if you like. Of course it is under the premise of ensuring safety.
Sometimes you can wear a bicycle helmet when you are skateboarding. If you are playing BMX skateboarding, use a special BMX helmet (suitable for extreme sports). This helmet has fewer holes, generally no more than 10, and the general shell is ABS! The bicycle helmet has more holes, which can reduce resistance and dissipate heat when riding a bicycle! The shell is generally PC or PVC.
